Evening of Dance The LSS end of semester show is Thursday June 2nd at 7pm in the small gym. Tickets are $5. Tickets are available at the door. The show is titled "Stand Up 2016". The dancers are standing up for what they believe in, from fighting for equality, race and gender to standing up for love, friendship and life. "Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen" -Winston Churchill "I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become reality... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word" - Martin Luther King, Jr. **This also features a dance that was performed at the Truth and Reconciliation Plaque Assembly at LSS about the residential schools. In addition there is a dance which features a collaboration between Dance, poetry and photography, involving a few students from English and Photography. Look forward to seeing you at the show!
