■ American College Application Campaign started in 2005 in North Carolina− By 2014 was in all 50 states

− Sponsored by American Council on Education

■ Nebraska held a pilot campaign last year with six high schools− 668 students completed 1,094 applications to 71 colleges

■ EducationQuest sponsors the Nebraska effort with help from a steering committee

■ First official step in the college enrollment process■ Reduces barriers to the application process■ May increase your school’s college-going culture
