* Reading to Learn * Reading comprehension test via computer this week to receive reading levels* 20 minutes per school day* Once a trimester, students will complete a creative book report to show comprehension* Core Literature

* One style per trimester (3) Narrative, Informative, Argumentative* Begin T-notes and drafts in class * teacher feedback

Writing

* Students will periodically be given the opportunity to work in groups to complete projects. teamwork & peer collaboration* The students will learn to better conduct research
