How Class This Works…

To maximize our time, I have put in a few procedures to make things run more smoothly.

-Cell Phones will be confiscated upon sight in class.

It will be given to the main office where you will pick it up at the end of the day.

1. Launch List:

Can be found on the front board. Each day there will be things on the

board you are required to start BEFORE the bell rings.

1. Have a copy of the “AP US History Syllabus” on your desk to go over.

2. In your binder, write down the 2 most interesting events in history.

2. Please Take One:

On your way in, grab any handouts before you sit down.

3. Discussion:

This class is discussion-based lecture. Participation is important. You will get a grade based upon

participation.

4. Respect:

All opinions are valued. It is important that you respect each

other and give one another the courtesy of listening.

You can talk at any time. When you want to speak-

1. Raise your hand. 2. Wait to be called on.

Bring the following each day 1 three ring binder – Something to write with (Pen) Textbook- you can leave things in

the back

Students who have done well enough to pass the final exam, typically take their time on assignments.

Do not save work for homeroom, set aside time for your work.

Late Work Procedure

Late work will not be accepted.

All assignments are due at the beginning of class the day they are due.
