Web Service

• A web service is a method of communication between two electronic devices over the World Wide Web. Web Services can convert your application into a Web-application, which can publish its function or message to the rest of the world.

• The basic Web Services platform is XML + HTTP.

Jsp and Php

• JSP (Java Server Pages)A scripting language based on Java for developing dynamic Web pages and web sites, Java server Pages are normal HTML with Java code pieces embedded in them. A JSP compiler is used to generate Servlets from the JSP page.

• PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor)Self-referentially short for PHP is Hypertext Preprocessor, an open source, server-side, HTML embedded scripting language used to create dynamic Web pages
