Enterprise Business Intelligence Solutions (EBIS)

Columbia University – CAPS Reports

Purpose: To provide guidance for accessing and running the CAPS Reports.

The CAPS Reports are accessed via the Enterprise Reporting tab of my.Columbia.edu. These reports are generated using Crystal Reports and are rendered on the Business Objects platform.

To access CAPS Reports, go to https://my.columbia.edu.

Go to https://my.columbia.edu and click on ‘Log In Now’.

Log in with your UNI and password

Select the “Enterprise Reporting” tab

Scroll down to the ‘Reports’ section and click on ‘My Business Objects InfoView Reports’

The Business Objects/InfoView landing page is displayed; the ‘CAPS’ folder is highlighted.

The reports available are:

1. Search by PO. #2. Search by REQ. #3. Search by PO. # Last Activity Date Range

To run a report, ‘double-click’ on the report name.

The report parameter page is displayed. Provide the report parameter values as needed and click ‘OK’ to run report.

The report is then generated.

To save or export report (ex. Excel).

If you experience any problems please ensure that your Browser is set up to enable automatic prompting for file downloads.

For Internet Explorer users, you can check this by bringing up your Internet Explorer and following the links:

Tools-->Internet Options--Security Tab-->Click on Custom Level-->Downloads-->Enable the automatic prompting for file downloads.
