You'll hear from leading scientists and learn about the impact climate change is having on polar bear habitats. In addition, we will provide ongoing opportunities for you and your students to make a positive change in your schools, communities, and around the world through the Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge, the premier national K–12 environmental sustainability competition

Elementary School Challenge Fast Facts:

•Open to classes, grades K-5, with one teacher/mentor per class

•Teacher/mentor must register and create a class team to begin

•The teacher/mentor can then work with his or her class to complete the application

•Open to grades 6-8 working in teams of two to four with a teacher/mentor

•The teacher/mentor must register and create a team to begin

•Student teams can work on the Challenge application

•Only the teacher/mentor can submit the final application

•Open to all high school students in grades 9-12•Teams will consist of two to four students (with

one designated student team lead) under the guidance of a teacher/mentor

•The teacher/mentor must register and create a team to begin

•All team members must contribute to the process
