Land and climate
There are some very high mountains in Washington most of them lie in the west.
There can be lots of rain in Washington mostly in Seattle , depending on where you are.
Resources and Industry
Although Washington only has about 150 miles of coastline along the Pacific ocean the state actually has much more coast line.
Eastern Washington was mainly desert until the Coulee dam was built in1930.
Historical Events
The mostly rainy city of Seattle sponsors a four day fair show casting very good music and very good art.
The Space Needle is a historical landmark that reaches many feet high.
Famous Sites
The space needle is one of Seattle’s most famous land mark, it was built for the 1960’s fair.
