INTRODUCTION My country is Oman. The population in

Oman is 3.15 million. The languages are Arabic and English. . The capitol of Oman is Muscat. Oman is in Asia. When I chose this country. I was thinking that it was going to be a challenge for me because I didn’t know anything .

GEOGRAPHY

Oman is a country in the Middle East. It is surrounded by U.A.E, Yemen and Saudi. Did you know that Oman is 1,000 miles long? The country is the size of a state called Kansas. Oman has about 20% mountains. The highest mountain is called AL SHAMS which is 9 957 feet high. Oman has no rivers or lakes. The capital of Oman is Muscat and it is on a peninsula.

CULTURE

The national day in Oman is November 18 and 19. The first Oman poetry festival was held on December 2006 in Muscat. Did you know that there was a famous Indian pop star in Oman? Oman uses plants to make movies.

CLIMATE

Oman is so hot because it is 40c and 110f in coastal areas. It rains about 25 inches every year. Oman is mostly covered in deserts and mountains.

ECONOMY

Oman s a poor country. Oman exports 61% of petroleum, oil and crude. Oman exports to U.A.E, China, Korea, India, Japan, U.S, Singapore and Thailand.

CONCLUSION

Oman is an amazing country. I learned a lot. I chose this country because it looks fun and it has amazing places. I learned that it rains about 25 inches every year. I want to know more about the money but I think I learned enough.
