Jacob Thackston Campbell

I was born in Lexington, Kentucky on April 12, 1991 and went on to grow up

in neighboring Richmond, KY then later on moving back to Lexington to study at the University of Kentucky.

I am majoring in Geography and focusing in Human Geography.

I worked at Interstate Equipment for over three years as a parts

manager.

Ethics •  I believe in always working hard and bringing a positive personality to be the best possible employee that I can personally be.

Five Career Strengths •  Empathy: I believe that empathy will help me be

a better and more understanding politician. •  Positivity: My positive nature that I bring will

not only help me but others around me as well.

•  Strategic: Solving strategy's has always been first nature to me.

•  Learner: I always try to learn everything that I can, I put a lot of importance within that belief.

•  Discipline: I believe that my hard work and discipline will go a long way in my career.

Graduate School •  I would like to attend Graduate School at the University of Kentucky to extend my education career.

•  I believe that going to graduate school would really improve my education and would also help my political aspirations.

Professional Goals • After attending graduate school at the University of Kentucky I would like to get my political career started with a internship.

• The ideal internship would be interning with a local political candidate during an election year. It would really help me gain some experience in the field.

Career Interest • For my future job I would like to run for office in the local level of government. • A future in any type of local politics would be would be my ideal job choice.
