Closed back window : It has a large pane of glass at the front and a solid back wall and two sides with a hidden door to access the window.

Open back window : These have side walls but no back wall, allowing the interior of the shop to be seen from the street.

OPEN BACK WINDOW

Straight Front : This type of parallels the sidewalk, with its monotony broken only be entrances. The entrances may be recessed into the main floor area, but all the lines are identical.

Angled Front : It is much like the straight front in that it follows a true line but the monotony is relieved by angles away from the sidewalk contour.

Angled Front Window

Corner Window : The window wrapped around a corner . The placement of stock is important because it will be visual from both directions.

Shadow Box : Shadow boxes are small entities, usually found near the entry of a store. It is perfect displaying luxury items like jewellery and watches. Shadow box requires individual lighting.

Windowless : It is wide opening at the front of the store will bring customers into the shop for merchandise easily visible to the passer by.
