Our Project

Design Thinking Process: Crafting and Revising Interview Questions

Design Thinking Process:Empathise

• Conducted interviews to find out more about the needs and challenges our end-users face

• Analysed and created a personabased on our interviews

Design Thinking Process: Creating a persona

Design Thinking Process: Involvement of Stakeholder

Type of Stakeholder Involvement in final solution

Gave feedback after student leaders presented final solution to school leadership

team

School Staff Advisors

Provided feedback and suggestions on the solution

External

Stakeholders

Parents of

Student

Leaders

Some parents gave feedback and supported in terms of providing resources to

add-on to student leader’s project (e.g. Natasha’s group who needed calligraphy

set for actualisation)

Student leaders presenting to school leaders

Groups presenting to our peers

Design Thinking Process: Ideating

Design Thinking Process: Researching on best practices

Design Thinking Process:Using criteria setting to choose the best activities

Design Thinking Process:Prototyping and Testing Our Solutions

• To test, review and improve on oursolutions

• Similar to the interview phase, webrought our solutions out to obtainfeedback from internal stakeholders(e.g. pupils, teachers, canteen vendors, elderly cleaners)

Design Thinking Process:Analysis of feedback from prototyping

• After a few cycles of testing andre-prototyping, we were satisfiedwith our final solution

Design Thinking Process:Reflection and Evaluation (Self and Peer)

Challenges We Faced And Solutions

Challenge: We suggested many different activities

and could not decide which activities to choose.

Solution: We used criteria setting to find out which

activity was suitable for the event and wrote down

the pros and cons of the various activities.

Challenges We Faced And Solutions

Challenge: When we first started the project, we could

not focus properly and kept talking about irrelevant

stuff.

Solution: We realised that we were going off task and

started to remind each other to put first thing first.

A good show and project by

the primary school students.

Keep it up!

Hope this will be a

yearly activity.

It’s a very good event to promote

cleanliness among our community.

We need a constant reminder about

keeping our city clean

Informative. Thank you

Excellent. Keep it up!

Talking to elderly in a

good way and good in

the plastic bottles station

I will pass this

information to my family

members and friends

Thank you children, for

bringing the community

spirit to life!

It is quite useful and

good

Keeping this in mind, we will share this data for the next team

which is going to plan any community project in the near future
