Guidelines

• Train each worker upon hiring of their responsibility

in protecting food from microbial, chemical, and

physical hazards and the importance of good

personal hygiene practices.

• Periodic refresher course at least once per year

• In depth food safety training for supervisors/

managers

A signature is NOT training.

In-house or outside.

Tailgate/breezeway refresher meetings.

Meetings such as MIC.

2. Supervisors

Why supervisors need a more

comprehensive training?

offered by AMI (2.5 – 3.5 hours training

Available in English and Spanish

and other Hourly Employees
