Week in ReviewOur pumpkin theme this week proved to be lots of fun! Did you know some pumpkins can be white, red or blue, the biggest pumpkin weighed over 1,000 pounds and pumpkins have been used as a boat? We read many fiction and non-fiction books about pumpkins. We learned all about the life cycle of a pumpkin from reading From Seed to Pumpkin and noticed how similar it was to an apple’s life. We completed a Venn Diagram to compare apples and pumpkins. We predicted what plants need to grow and planted pumpkin seeds from our class pumpkin to see which prediction will be correct.
