Creating Your Presentation

• There are 3 methods you can use to present your work.

1. Print screens in Microsoft Word 2. An example webpage in Macromedia Fireworks 8 3. A working webpage in Macromedia Dreamweaver

• The following slides explain each of the methods listed above.

Print screens in Microsoft Word

• The easiest way to complete your presentation.

• Open Client_presentation from your AO6 folder.

• Open each of your Web Graphics in Fireworks 8.

• Press F12 to view your graphics in Internet Explorer

• Print screen your graphics and paste them into your client_presentation document.

Example Webpage in Fireworks

• To mock up a webpage in Fireworks open a new Fireworks file.

• Set the stage to 1024 * 768 pixels (72 dpi)• Go to File > Import and import your

navigation bar, rollover buttons and advertising banner– You will not be able to import an animated

advertising banner.

A working webpage in Dreamweaver

• This is the best way to display your web graphics.

• Open Macromedia Dreamweaver• Create a new HTML page.• Insert a table (Insert > Table)• Chose the amount of rows and columns

you need.• Set the width to 100%

• Set up your site:– Go to Site > New Site– Give your site a name (ignore the HTTP Address box)– Next– Make sure No is selected > Next– Click on the yellow folder– Select your Unit 21 folder > Next– Select None for ‘How do you connect to your remote

server’– Next– Done

• Open each of your graphics in Fireworks• Go to File > Export• Make sure you select COPY TO

CLIPBOARD in the HTML box.• Click Export• Go back to Dreamweaver and right click in

the correct cell and PASTE FIREWORKS HTML.

• Do this for each of your graphics
