Ultimate Angry BirdsPlay Angry Birds on
the iPad! Each person gets to
throw ONE bird! Then we have to
move on to ULTIMATE ANGRY
BIRDS!
How to Play
There are 4 jobs…1.Throwers2.Builders3.Clean Sweepers4.Sorters
Each team will receive points for the blocks they knock
down. The team with the most points wins… BUT…
Builders build a block tower…
Throwers toss Angry Birds at it…
Clean sweepers sweep all the blocks that fell to the sorters…
Sorters solve the multiplication fact and line up the addition
problem, then return it to the throwers to solve.
NotabilityDuring the game, we will be using an iPad App called Notability to record.

How will we use Notability in STEM?
Getting Started
• This is Notability’s home page.
• Choose your project from the list or click on the to start a new project.
Click here for a new project!
Changing the Title
• Always change the title using the following:– Teacher’s
Name– Date– List all
group members’ first names
This is where the title goes!
Typing on Page
• Tap the to type on the page.
• This is how we will type the steps of the Engineering Design Process (ask, imagine, plan, create, improve.)
Tap to type on the page!
Changing the Font
• Whenever the keyboard is present, you can change the font style, size, color, etc. by taping the different options and selecting.
Use these options to change the
fonts!
Draw on Page
• Tap the to draw a picture.
• Tap twice for color and line options.
• Use this to draw plans, idea webs, etc.
Tap this once to draw or twice
for the drawing options menu!
Erasing
• Use undo to quickly erase the last thing you did.
• Use the eraser to erase objects you’ve drawn.

Adding a Photo
• Tap the to take a photo and add it to your project.
• Tap “Take a Photo.”
• Tap “Use.”• Use this to
add pictures of your group during the create step of the EDP.
Captioning a Photo
• Once you’ve added a photo, you should add a caption describing what is happening in the photo.
• Click “Add a Caption” and type.
Adding a Text Box
• You can use text boxes to type a small box of words anywhere on the page.
• This can be useful for labeling your drawings.
• Hold your finger where ever you want the text box.
• Tap “+Text Box.”
• Tap inside the box and type.
Type inside the text
box!
Moving Text Boxes and Photos
• You can move a photo or text box by tapping the then tapping the object.
• Drag the object using the gray tab at the top of it.
Returning to the Home Page
• Go back to the home page at the end of class so that the next group can use the app the same way you did!
