Before the Ride

No More Street Hails.

Riders can start the Uber app from anywhere and wait safely

for their car to arrive.

That means no standing on the street to hail a cab or

struggling to find the nearest bus stop late at night.

Trips are no longer anonymous.

When a driver accepts a request, his or her first name,

photo, license plate number, and rating will be shown

to the person being picked up.

In addition, the driver can see the first name and rating of

the passenger. Drivers and riders can contact each other

through the app if there is any confusion

Driver Ratings.

Feedback and ratings are after every trip. Riders and

drivers are asked to rate each other and provide

feedback for every trip before requesting or accepting

another ride. This feedback is used to manage and

maintain the integrity of the platform.

they need to report an incident, our support team is ready

to respond to any issues.

Law Enforcement Response Team.

To ensure a quick turnaround of legal processes/requests

received from Police, we have launched a portal expressly

for the use of law enforcement community.

LERT Portal is managed 24x7 and can be used to submit

any regular/emergency disclosure request anywhere in the

world.

We use GPS to keep a record of where a driver goes

during the ride, allowing us to verify that the most efficient

routes are being used, which creates accountability and a

strong incentive for good behavior.

Sensitization when onboarding.

At the time of on-boarding drivers are taught how to use

the App, how to log in the correct account for maximum

safety, how to use Google Maps, how to select the correct

vehicle, rules around no drinking and driving/road safety

and more.
