by large companies, which

require a Taxi Operator

Licence (TOL) from the

LTA. Holders of the TOL

are required to comply

with LTA's Quality of

Service (QoS) standards.

Taxis in Singapore

The Mass Rapid Transit

(MRT) is a rapid transit

system forming the major

component of the railway

system in Singapore.

The MRT network

encompasses 170.7 km of

route, with 101 stations in

operation. The lines are

built by the Land Transport

established on 27

September 2006 by the

LTA, with the aim of

becoming a one-stop

global knowledge hub in

urban transport, to share

and promote best

practices and experiences
