Staying with a deceased loved one for 24 hours

Following instructions of someone in authority to you

Smiling in the workplace

Presenting information to a group of people

Beliefs are molded by our own unique cultural backgrounds

Our beliefs and values around certain issues will affect our actions in the

workplace

We will have subtle (and not so subtle) ways of

communicating asa response

Different expectations around a behaviour (including communication) can cause conflict

What can you do to assist in these instances of conflict?

Strategies to consider

1. Get to know your graduate and their ways of thinking

2. Discuss impact of these on practice

3. Assist in resolving conflict with other workers
