Monday 20th March

Southern Area Rotary Schools’ Concert

Now in its 4th year this lovely concert has a real community feel as children from schools across South Warwickshire have a chance to shine - supported by local Rotary groups.

Wednesday 22nd March

Northern Area Spotlight Concert The spotlight turns to young people in the Nuneaton and Bedworth area for the ever popular Spotlight Concert at Milby Primary School that gives soloists and small ensembles an opportunity to take to the stage and perform in front of friends and family.

Weekend Festival Focus in Warwick The weekend of 24th - 26th March sees a unique focus on our talented youngsters as hundreds of performers gather at the Bridge House Theatre and Warwick Hall.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat The central area music theatre group perform the ever popular Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Bridge House Theatre on Friday 24th March and again in two performances on Saturday 25th March.

Friday 24th and Saturday 25th March

Music Makers - A Celebration of Youth In between two Joseph performances the brand new Warwick Hall at Warwick School will host our Singing Playgrounds performance featuring children from six southern area schools.

Singing Playgrounds is a major partnership with Ex Cathedra that has introduced the joy of whole school singing to dozens of Warwickshire schools and thousands of children. The Singing Playgrounds schools are joined by Warwickshire Music county groups including the County Girls’ Choir, County Waits, County Viol Consort and Suzuki String Group.

Saturday 25th March

Warwickshire Music supports Shakespeare Week

A special mention for our amazing Early Music group ‘Waits’ who will be particularly busy on Saturday 25th March. In addition to performing at our ‘Music Makers’ concert at Warwick Hall they will also be at Shakespeare’s Birthplace early afternoon to support the celebration of Shakespeare Week; organised by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.

Singing for Mum

You are spoilt for choice on Saturday as just down the road the Warwickshire Choristers are performing their annual Singing for Mum concert in the beautiful setting of St. Mary’s Collegiate Church, Warwick.

Saturday 25th March

Music Makers - Windband Day

Our second Music Makers concert at Warwick Hall is an all day affair. Our

Windband day will bring together woodwind, brass and percussion players from

across Warwickshire to work together during the day with specialist tutors.

They will then be joined by county groups including the County Wind Band,

County Jazz Orchestra and the County Percussion Ensemble in a glorious

performance with something of a Shakespeare theme.

Sunday 26th March

Rugby Primary Schools’ Choir Festival Over to the east of the county and the 12th annual Rugby primary schools’ choir festival in the glorious setting of the Temple Speech Room, Rugby. This event has grown in popularity over the last twelve years and the standard of the participating school choirs is exceptional.

Wednesday 29th March

Central Area Music Centre Groups This is the major event for young performers in our central area music centre groups and we are back in the imposing setting of All Saints’ Parish Church, Leamington Spa.

Wednesday 29th March

Singing Celebration What better way to complete the Warwickshire Music Spring Festival than with an absolutely scintillating Singing Spectacular at The Civic Hall, Bedworth. The venue is a favourite for us and this concert will feature singing groups and our second major event featuring Singing Playground schools.
