Looking Back at USARIEM
The U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine
launched a collaborative research study with Tufts University to
assess the effectiveness of two weight-loss strategies.
The U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine, or USARIEM, once again partnered with the Norwegian Defense
Research Establishment to study nutrition and physiological responses to cold-weather training.
Call it good chemistry. Researchers from the Army and Harvard Medical School are collaborating on a Department of Defense-funded
study to identify chemical biomarkers that could differentiate between post-traumatic stress disorder and mild traumatic brain
injury.
