Thrive Africa is a ministry focused on the Basotho (pronounced “ba-soo-too”) people living throughout Intabazwe and Qwa Qwa, rural township areas surrounding the town of Harrismith South Africa. Home to over 1 million people, this region has been declared the poorest area of the country: 88% are unemployed and 75% experience chronic hunger.In 2002, Thrive purchased a game reserve as its mission base. 2,500 acres of sprawling countryside serve as the base of operations for the entire ministry.
