•  Agreement towards building a strategic partnership •  Aalto-Tongji Design Factory established at Tongji Campus to serve as the platform for the Sino-Finnish

Centre 2011 •  Double Degree cooperation on International Design Business Management (IDBM) 2012 •  First Aalto-Tongji Professor nominated (a key person to manage the partnership) 2014 •  Second Aalto-Tongji Professor nominated 2015 •  Joint Application to the Chinese Ministry of Education by Tongji University in partnership with Aalto

University for the establishment of Shanghai International College of Design and Innovation (Shanghai D&I), Tongji University under ”Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools”
