Tis the Season…of Sigma!

Once again, it has come around to the holiday launch of another BIG Sigma novel, The Seventh Plague. First andforemost, I wish everyone a bright and joyous Christmas and the happiest of New Years! With the house here alldecorated and the stockings hung, I thought I’d share a little about this new book. I’m thrilled to report that the novel hasalready garnered a few starred reviews (form Publishers Weekly and Booklist), along with being picked by the editors atAmazon as a Best Book of December 2016. But ultimately I’ll let you all be the true judge! You are who truly matters, theones who I write these stories for.

A bit of the story behind the origin of The Seventh Plague:

Having grown up in Missouri, I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Mark Twain. I knew I always wanted to putthis great American humorist into one of my books. But where would he fit? Well, I eventually learned that Twain had along and enduring friendship with a certain inventor and genius, Nicola Tesla. The two would pal around, with Twain evenassisting with a few of Tesla’s experiments, to sometimes humorous ends. Yet, I knew a story featuring this duo—a manof words and a man of science—would need an appropriately HUGE story, one of Biblical proportions. And then I foundone—straight out of the Old Testament, from the Book of Exodus, concerning Moses and the ten plagues. What Idiscovered is based on true history and startling science. It’s a story that needs to be told, one that’s both shocking andrevelatory. And I can’t wait for you all to read it!
