Ladies Supper at the Red Lion
Ladies start the Christmas Festivities by coming along to the next Ladies
Supper at the newly refurbished Red Lion on December 2nd at 6pm. There is a list at the back of the
Church or you can telephone the pub direct (01829 760275) with your menu
choice. This event is open to all ladies
and if you have not been before come along and give it a try, even better
bring a friend.
Foodbank Mid-Cheshire Foodbank are
desperately short of Long Life Fruit Juice, Tinned Meat
& Sponge Puddings. Please remember the Foodbank
when you are doing your weekly shop and help those less fortunate than ourselves.
In the past week the Foodbank have fed 88 people including
31 children.
Gentlemen’s Dinner The next Gentlemen’s Dinner is to be
held on Monday 18th November
6pm for 6.30pm At The Red Lion, Little Budworth.
Do join us for a good meal and friendly conversation. To book your

Advent Talks On 20th November we begin a four
week series of Advent talks marking the 100th Anniversary of
the end of the 1914-1919 war. Based on Major John McRae's
poem 'In Flanders fields' there will be an address followed by
Compline. The series will be held in the Mews beginning at 7.30pm.
Christingle Making
Please join us from 9am on Friday 6th Dec. in Church, to help assemble our
Christingle oranges. All helpers will be liberally supplied with tea/
coffee and mince pies! Contact Teresa Finney: 889311 for
more info.
St Mary’s Organ Repairs The PCC are planning significant repairs to the church organ. We have applied for a faculty and have now entered a period of Consultation. The necessary
paperwork can be viewed on the church door.
It is hoped that the works will commence after Christ-
mas to be completed before
Easter.

St. Peter’s Mothers Union Our Christmas project this year is
Handbags for Homeless Women. Good second hand SHOULDER bags which are filled with specific basic essentials
for women are being sent to CATH and the Salvation Army. A full list of
the items is in the November magazine and in church where a
sample bag can be seen. Donations of the individual items would also be
appreciated. Please contact Diana for more details.

Wine Tasting 23rd November in the Mews
We are delighted that Simon & Renata will Host this evening from
7.00pm £10 a ticket please sign the list if
you would like to come as numbers are limited and it will be a terrific
evening. More details will be on the poster.
We will also be launching the Christmas Hamper Raffle during
the evening.
