“The Corridor Project”Ports to Plains Alliance Membership:
In May 2009 Alberta became the first Canadian member of the “Ports to Plains Trade Corridor Alliance” a north south rural development with members in nine key U.S. States, including Texas, Colorado, Okl h M t N M i Oklahoma, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Wyoming.

1. Establish rural trade development opportunities, b i d it business and community growth
2. Establish the Wild Horse Canada/U.S. border crossing as Canada/U.S. border crossing as a 24 hour a day crossing.
3. Enhance awareness and business development, trade, investment, tourism and partnerships between Alberta and other Ports to Plains members for benefit to Alberta members for benefit to Alberta communities and U.S. colleagues
Wild Horse BorderA key element of “The Corridor” is the Port of Entry to the U S at Wild Horse and the potential for increased the U.S. at Wild Horse and the potential for increased economic development in Eastern Alberta that could result from increased trade and tourism with the United States.
