Putting it all together…

• Your last assignment for the elements and principles of design is a figure analysis.– First finish your figure analysis packet, filling in what you will do

with each of the principles of design.– Second, use the F.A. packet and your color packet to analyze what

kinds of designs you would look best in.– Third, make a list of each of the P&E of design and what you want

to create in an outfit to make you look your best.– Last, create two different sketches of your own design that would

look good on you on the model figure, change the figure to look like you. Example: cut the legs down if you are shorter.

Figure analysis portfolio

• After creating the sketches on the model, trace your figure through onto a white piece of paper and color with colored pencils.

• Cut out your figures and mount on a portfolio page.

Requirements of the page

Before you sketch

• Before you begin to sketch, be sure that what you are imagining will accomplish each of the elements and principles of design.
