The Anti-HeroThe Hero's Journey

The Anti-hero

Heroes are set on a hierarchy of morality from divine, godly heroes at the top to the anti-hero at the bottom.

The divine heroes were to alleviate fears of monsters.

The anti-hero developed when we noticed the monsters inside ourselves.

from a dystopian or falsely utopian society where the authority controls the populace

has underdeveloped traits, may be completely inept

conforms to society in the beginning; an average joe

starts questioning the authority, becomes an outsider mentally or physically

shares questions with someone of authority

challenges the authority

destroys authority, escapes to fight again, or dies/goes back to conformity as an average joe.
