NIH

The application for the 2015-2016 National Institutes of Health (NIH) Medical Research Scholars Program (MRSP) has been extended to January 31, 2015.

The deadline for submission of applications for the 2015-2016 National Institutes of Health (NIH) Medical Research Scholars Program (MRSP) has been extended to January 31, 2015. The MRSP is a year-long mentored research training program for qualified medical, dental, and veterinary students in basic, clinical, or translational research at the main intramural campus of the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland. The primary goal of the program is to train a diverse group of future clinician-scientists and biomedical researchers, utilizing hands on research experiences carefully guided by NIH mentors which is augmented with a didactic educational experience of lectures and seminars. These individuals would join the pipeline of the next generation of biomedical researchers.

Details of the program are available at the following website: http://www.cc.nih.gov/training/mrsp/index.html For further information, please contact Kenny Williams (williajk@cc.nih.gov) or Tonya Shackelford (tonya.shackelford@nih.gov). They can also be reached at (888) 695-5343.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
