Thankful

Psalm 107:8-9- “Let them give thanks to the LORD for his

unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men,

for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good

things.”

Thankful

Satisfied

We can be thankful for our salvation because it will take

us to Heaven.

We can be thankful for our salvation because it brings a

great life on earth.

Let’s give thanks for God working IN our lives.

Philippians 1:6- “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until

the day of Christ Jesus.”

Ephesians 3:16- “that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be

strengthened with might through His Spirit in the

inner man,”

C. S. Lewis

So what does His Spirit do when He works in us?

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,

goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is

no law.(Gal.5:22-23)

We can be thankful for God working THROUGH our lives.

Philippians 2:13-“For God is working in you, giving you the

desire and the power to do what pleases him.”

God has a specific purpose and calling on the life of every

believer.

Jeremiah 1:5 says “Before I formed you in the womb I

knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I

appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

It is the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God, living in us that will work through us and enable

us to do these great and mighty works.

John 14:10 Jesus said, "Don't you believe that I am in the

Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing

his work."

verse 12, "I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than

these, because I am going to the Father."

"How do I yield to God and allow His Spirit to work

through me?"

we have to yield to love.

Matthew 14:14 it says, "And Jesus went forth, and saw a

great multitude, and was moved with compassion

toward them, and healed their sick."

The love of God gives us access to the power of God.

Thanks be to Jesus for our eternal salvation and home in

Heaven.

Thanks be to Jesus for our great life that he provides for

us here on earth:

The joy of seeing His Spirit produce fruit IN us.

The joy of seeing His Spirit work THROUGH us to change

our world.
