Concerts on the Rooftop 2012 doubled in attendance over last year, serving 13,500 people over the six concert season! This could not have been

possible without your support. Your contribution allowed us to get great

bands, provide more advertising, and provide the quality logistical support needed to produce these events. We

have put together a short slide show as our way of saying thanks and showing

you how your gift of support was appreciated by many, many people.

Thank you so much!

Concertson the RooftopDuring the song “Money,

Money, Money,” kids in the crowd were thrilled as ABBA Salute handed out bills left

and right. Though it was not real currency—the band posed in place of George

Washington—it caused quite a stir nonetheless! With

approximately 3,000 attending, the concert was a

great way to start off the summer series!

A band like Madison County comes with a huge following, and they didn’t disappoint! With over 3500 attendees throughout the night, it was the biggest Concert on the Rooftop to date. Even the most reluctant country fan would admit that the band put on a fantastic show! Playing both today’s popular music and classic country, Madison County truly had something for everyone.

After watching BROTHER, more than one audience member wanted to try their hand at the didgeridoo. Combining the native Australian instrument with guitar, vocals, bagpipes, and tribal percussion, BROTHER proved that they had a wholly unique sound!

Concertson the RooftopAfter hearing The Mark Croft Band play their mixture of roots, pop, and Americana, patrons were glad that they had braved the heat! Despite record highs, the combination of covers and original music kept the audience dancing and asking for more.

Who knew that jazz-funk could be so much fun? Three Beers Til Dubuque rocked the house, playing such hits as “Jump, Jive ‘n Wail,” “Brick House,” and “25 or 6 to 4.” You name it, they covered it! The audience was quick to get up and dance, and the beautiful weather made it an all-around great night!

Concertson the RooftopAt our 15th anniversary concert, not only did we have an awesome band—Catch a Wave—but we also had lots of fun activities! These included a kids’ craft station, hula hoop area, and a photo station, among others. Visitors of all ages posed with surfboards, palm trees, and other props, giving the illusion of a day at the beach. Despite the wind and chilly weather, they sure look like they are having fun in the sun!
