TERRIGAL VS OURIMBAH AT OURIMBAH
RUGBY PARK
This weekend when the Trojans take on the Razorbacks
it will be the preview to the finals series, where the two
strongest clubs face off against each other at Ourimbah
Rugby Park. This weekend’s rugby is so important to our
Club in many ways. The Trojans lead First and Second
Grade and Ourimbah is coming second in First and
Second Grade. Ourimbah is second in Third Grade and
the Trojans are placed third. The Trojans will win the
Minor Premiership this year but this weekend they will play
a very determined Club. There is no doubt this match will
be the toughest test of the season on Ourimbah’s home
ground.
Terrigal has a great forward pack which is the strength of
our side. Both sides will be looking to dominate in the
forwards area. The match up between the two No. 9s will
go a long way to win this match. Both back lines are slick
and strong defensively.
This weekend’s game will be a great game of rugby to the
very last minute of the match.

LAST WEEK AGAINST HORNSBY
Terrigal was able to display some great running rugby to
account for the Hornsby side in both First and Second
Grade last weekend. The main game was tight at half
time with the Terrigal coaches challenging their players to
switch up a gear in the second half which they delivered
upon. The first try of the match by the Trojans was
without doubt one of the tries of the year. Hornsby
competed right from the start to the end whistle which is
always expected from Hornsby. The Trojans Second Grade showed they are in great form
dominating the forward battle and showing why they are
leading the Second Grade competition this year. It augers
well that there are so many talented players competing for
positions in the Trojans teams as we approach the semi
finals. Every time we play Hornsby it is an enjoyable day and last
weekend was no different. The Hornsby Club always
come back to our Clubhouse on mass where everyone
had a big night with the large crowd that remained in the
club from Ladies Day celebrations. Well done to the Hornsby Lions for a great weekend of
rugby.

BOAT RACE
Terrigal brought out their A Grade team for the boat
race where Tim Date, Ryan Metcalfe, Frankie Webber
and Ethan McInnes arrived with a determined focus to
take on the Hornsby side. Both sides got away to a solid
start however, it was Terrigal who came home the
strongest to claim victory in our inter-club boat race.
Well done guys!
