1) For you, what constitutes "good acting"?For me good acting is when it appears as though the actor is being genuine. By this I mean that a good actor can make it seem like he/she isn't acting but reacting to the situation around him/her unless they are acting out an explicitly unrealistic or exaggerated character.2) Who are your top two favorite actorsMatt Damon:Genuine: Every scene I've seen him in he's been completely believable and authentic to the point where I actually have trouble not believing he's a genius janitorSmart/Kind: He's an intelligent man and is very forward and charitable in his thinking and actionsBostonian: This actually puts him above many other actors for me. He's from the same area as May and displays many of the mannerisms I know which makes his acting more enjoyableLeonardo DiCaprio:Wide range: He has played the teenage heartthrob, greedy businessman and the paranoid mole while never giving an unconvincing performance.Larger-than-life: Every performance he gives is memorable and iconic and he is memorable and iconic as a resultLovable: I have never heard a bad word about his personal character. Whether or not this means he's a good person is debatable but it puts him ahead of other actors for me who can't manage to act well and be decent human beings.
