Intro to my Table of Contents:

This is the Final Piece I will now be talking about my magazine and justifying my choices.

This is the Final Piece I will now be talking about my magazine and justifying my choices.

This is my Final piece, I will now be talking about how and why I designed it this way.

Font Colours:

For each first letter I coloured it bold Red I did this by going to Shape outline and clicking red. I did this because red is very bold an eye catching, and would grab the readers Attention. Also each bit which is highlighted is an important part of my magazine, therefore I wanted it to stand out and be seen.

This is an example.

Background Justification:

I chose to have a ‘ Back to school’ background as I thought it relevant to the theme of School. Also I thought the colour of the background grey and white blended nicely with Red and Black, as neither outshone each other, and both are very easy to read. Finally I chose this background because if a reader was flicking through the magazine in a shop and saw the table of contents page, they would know what the magazine was about, and could make the choice easily whether they wanted to buy the magazine or not. Finally I got the background from Google images.

Selling Line, Why I used

January 2009 2.99 Date Analysis and Interview Analysis:

I chose to put the date and price on the top left as I didn’t want it to distract the reader from the main focuses. Also because it would make the magazine look more professional.

Interview: An interview in the table of contents is crucial because it is often what makes the reader pick up the magazine and want to read it. I chose to use Pixie lott to be my interviewee as she is very relevant to teenage life nowadays and she both appeals to boys and girls.
