travelersLesson 4: Verbs, verbs everywhere!

Part 2

Welcome back travelers! In this second lesson we are going to study the past and the future

Spanish verbs in an easy way!.

The regular verbs in THE FUTURE TENSE are conjugated by adding the following endings to the infinitive form of the verb: -é, -ás, -á, -

emos, -éis, án

Yo hablaréTú hablarás

El/ella hablaráNosotros hablaremos

Vosotros hablaréisEllos/ellas hablarán

Hablar

(To talk)

There are twelve common verbs that are irregular in the future tense. Their endings are regular, but

their stems change. Since the endings are the same as all other future tense verbs, I show you

only the “yo” form, and I have underlined the irregular stem

We can find the SIMPLE PAST: I spoke.Verbs ending “–ar”.

Using “hablar” (To talk)as an example:

Nosotros/as hablamosVosotros/as hablasteis

Ellos/ellas hablaron

Verbs ending “-er”.

Using “comer” (To eat) as an example:
