ATTENTION TOURISM & HOSPITALITY STUDENTS!

Do you want some hands-on experience with event and visitor management? Are you excited

about sports tourism in Waterloo Region? If you answered ‘yes’ to either of these questions,

then please consider getting in touch with us to work as a Survey Assistant at this year’s Manulife

Financial LPGA Classic!

Details on the event:

When: Wednesday, June 4th to Sunday, June 8th, 2014

Where: Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo, Ontario

Survey Assistant Roles and Responsibilities:

Administer a short, 5-minute visitor survey with tourists attending the event

Be familiar with using tablet and mobile device technology*

Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Be timely, accountable, and pleasant during survey administration

Be prepared to have fun!

*We will provide you with Blackberry mobile devices to administer the surveys at the event.

Please come prepared to learn about these devices, if you are not familiar with them already!

Remuneration:

$15/hr pay provided

Training on survey techniques/methods

Meal voucher will be provided

We are looking for three (3) or four (4) assistants to commit a few hours for every day of the
