The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said “ When Allah wishes good for a person

He bestows upon him the understanding of His Deen”

If you want to know how much good Allah (SWT) has done to you and If you want to know how much good Allah (SWT) is granting you look

how much Allah (SWT) gives you of the ability to learn and seek

knowledge Attending religious gatherings and learning more about Islam is a sign

of love of Allah (SWT) to His servants. Allah gives good to those whom he loves and you are from amongst those whom Allah loves

because you all are in a gathering that you are seeking knowledge.

The benefits of Reciting Surah Fatiha

The Prophet of Allah said that Allah, the most high declared,

I have divided prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what he has asked for.

When the servant says:

All praise belongs to Allaah the Rabb of all the Worlds. Allaah (SWT) says: My servant has praised Me.

When the servant says:

All praise belongs to Allaah the Rabb of all the Worlds. Allaah (SWT) says: My servant has praised Me.

And when he says:

The Most Gracious the Most Merciful Allaah (SWT) says: My servant has extolled Me

When he says:

Master of the Day of Judgment Allaah (SWT) says: My servant has glorified Me

when he says:

You alone do we worship and from You alone do we seek help He says: This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for.

And when he says:Guide us to the Straight Path, the Path of those whom you have favoured, not of those upon whom is Your anger, nor of those who are astray

He says: This is for My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for." [Reported by Muslim, Maalik, at-Tirmidhee, Abu Daawood, an-Nasaaee and Ibn Maajah]

Placed at the beginning of the Qur’an this Surah is actually a prayer. Allah asks man to read the Quran with the aim of finding out ‘the straight path’ and true guidance.

This Surah is thus man’s prayer and the rest of the Quran is Allah’s response showing man the straight path which will bring his success in both this life and the next life.
