Our Mission To provide a voice in court for every abused and neglected

child that they might have an opportunity for a safe and permanent home.

To help the child in crisis feel a little less alone, understand a little more about what is happening around them, and know that someone who cares will be there through their entire court experience.

they not get lost in the system and are provided the needed services to grow up to become healthy, productive adults, able to break the chain of abuse.

  To assist the court and the Guardian ad Litem by

providing accurate, child centered information as they seek to legally protect the child.

Each year nearly 800,000 children are confirmed victims of abuse or

neglect in the U.S. The threat grows during times of economic downturn.

THE CRISIS

Last year, in Prince William 1,412 children received interventions for child abuse.

CASA volunteers do what no one else doesThey donate their time to act as the independent eyes and ears of the court, investigate in the field, and speak solely in the interests of the child.
