complex sentences

Clauses-subject+predicate• independent(main):• Subject +verb• Provide complete

meaning(stand alone)• E.g)The sun shines brightly.• It gives complete sentence

and stand alone

• Dependent(subordinate):• Provide incomplete

meaning(not stand alone)• E.g)while the sun shines

brightly.• This sentence leaves

questions like “while the sun shines brightly ” what will happen???,which is incomplete.
