-they are connected by the corpus callosum

-occipital lobe-visual signals processed

-temporal lobe-hearing, memory, emotion, and speaking

-organization, planning, creative thinking

Parietal lobe-gets info from the skin, senses,

and muscles

Hemispheres of the Brain-left and right hemispheres

-compliment each other (mirror images)

-corpus callosum carries messages between the hemispheres

-each side connected to opposite side of the body
