SAFE ENTRY SYSTEM AT CAMPUS

Students, staff, vendors, contractors and visitors will need to follow UAE Government safety guidelineswhenever they enter and exit from the campus.

Individuals will need to mandatory checking of body temperature with the use of infrared thermometer isrequired at the Basement Entry & Campus Reception whenever they ENTER and EXIT .

SAFETY MANAGEMENT OFFICER FOR THE CAMPUS

A Staff member is designated as Safety Management officer and he is responsible to see that all Safe Management Measures in the MOHP requirements should be in place at the campus during and before operation

If anyone notices any breach of Safe Management Measures or poor practices, you can report it to Campus Administration.

MANDATORY WEARING OF FACE MASK IN CAMPUS

Students, staff, vendors,contractors and visitors shouldwear face mask at all time whenthey are in campus. Managementhas the right to refuse entry forthose individuals who do notcomply. Signage is placed at theMain Gate ‘ No Face Mask, NoEntry”.

SAFE DISTANCING MEASURE OF 2-METER APART

Safe distancing is an effective way of controlling the spread of virus. Everyone must be aware of 2 meter distance. Several high traffic areas in campus are demarcated clearly with visual indicators-marked with a box and in a line for everyone’s compliance. POSTERS/ SIGNAGES FOR SAFE DISTANCING ARE PLACED IN DIFFERENT AREAS IN CAMPUS

Posters and signages were placed in different areas in campus to remind students, staff and visitors about safe distancing measures.

TOUCH FREE SANITIZERS

Touch Free Sanitizers will be placed in high traffic areas in the entire campus and All staff and students SHOULD sanitized their hands from time to time

FREQUENT HAND-WASHING IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED

Hand-washing is one of the most effective means of controlling the transmission of viruses. 8-steps of theregulated hand-washing is posted in most of the toilets/wash areas in campus.

DISINFECTANT SPRAYER

As the virus can survive on surfaces of different materials for at least 2 to 3 days, surfaces potentially contaminated with the COVID-19 virus (e.g. commonly touched surfaces, surfaces which may have been exposed to respiratory droplets such as sneezes or coughs, and floors) will be sanitized. Disinfectant will be sprayed across the campus regularly. It is non-fragrant, non-alcohol, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-irritant and food safe. After application, it has an anti-microbial effect for 28 days.

A maximum of 2 people is only allowed to use the lift at the same time.Boxes/markers have been made to indicate the same

A maximum of 5 people isallowed to be at theDesignated Smoking Areainside the campus . Only 1person is allowed to beseated on each metalbench.

Students who wish to play indoor table tennis, outdoor basketball, badminton and football should notifythe Receptionist should they wish to play so that the number of players regulated.

SAFE DISTANCING AT THE LIBRARY

Library will have limited seats due to safe distancing measure.

EVENTS OR ACTIVITIES REQUIRING MORE THAN 5 PEOPLE NOT PERMITTED

As per Government’s regulation there should be no events or activities of more than 5 people at the campuslocation . No gathering is permitted even while queuing for Food Court, Social Costa Café and for the Accounts& Admin Counters.

PUNITIVE MEASURES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE OF SAFETY MEASURES

The school management will impose penalty and fines forthose students who do not comply with safety distancingmeasures. First- time offenders will be fined (given below).Subsequent and repeated offence/s will be dealt withstricter punitive measures or even prosecution.

1. Failure to wear face mask USD $100

2. Failure to appear for the temperature check USD $100

3. Failure to observe 2-meter safe distancing USD$100

AVOID CLOSE AND PHYSICAL TOUCH/CONTACT

Avoid hugging, handshakes, pat on the shoulder, high-5 and fish bumps. On the contrary, every student /staff member is encouraged to use ‘namaste’, waving of hand, hand on the heart and nodding of the head.

DESIGNATED ISOLATION ROOMS

Rooms No 18 and 32A are assigned as Designated Isolation Rooms. Students /staff who fall ill and show respiratory symptoms will be placed in any of these rooms. These rooms are located in Ground & Second Floor.

EXTERNAL FOOD/PACKAGE DELIVERY TO CAMPUS

Any orders by staff/ students :Facilitate contactless ordering and delivery ofpurchases from minimarts, canteens and shops..

The external delivery staff SHOULD go through Safeentry system and place the food /Package in the tentnear the main gate. The staff/ students should arrangeto safely pick them up from the tent.

CAMPUS HYGIENE POINTERS

REPORTING SICK

Students/Staff members are highly encouraged to report to theReception or Hostel Warden or to any S P Jain staff if he/she is ill,most specifically if the individual is having respiratory symptomsand or experiencing fever, cough, running nose, shortness ofbreath.

If the student can travel by his/her own, he/she should take a cabor Grab and proceed to the nearest clinic or hospital that has SASH(Swab and Stay Home) capability.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

In the event whereby there is a suspected and/or affected case of COVID-19 in campus, one of the staffshould wear PPE suit and other protective equipment(we have sufficient number of sets ) to assist themedical personnel for the extraction of the affected person from the isolation room, if required.
