*Tuitionisdueinfullforeachmonth,August-Mayregardlessofthelengthofthemonth.InclementWeatherClosingsIfCowetaCountySchoolscloseduetoweatherconditions,ourstudiowillalsocloseforregularclassesforthesafetyofourstudents.Tuition/PaymentsForyourconvenience,youcannowpayyourtuitiononlinewithacreditcard,debitcard,orcheckingaccount.Tuitionisdueonthefirstlessonofeachmonth.Thereisagraceperiodonallaccountsuntilthe15thofeachmonth.Paymentsmaybemailed,droppedoffinpersonduringclasshours,placedinthepaymentdropboxlocatedinthefrontlobby,orpaidonline.Onthe16thofeachmonth,statementsareprintedandmailedifyouraccounthasnotbeenpaid.Atthattimethereisa$10latefeechargeaddedtotheaccount.Wemusthaveyourpaymentbythe15thtoavoidthelatefee.Acheckdatedforthe15thbutreceivedonthe18thisconsideredlate.Ifyouraccountbecomesmorethan30dayspastdue,yourchildmaybewithdrawnfromclassandunabletoattenduntilyouraccountiscurrent.ReturnedCheckFeeAllreturnedchecksaresubjecttoa$35returnedcheckfee.Areturnedcheckalongwiththereturnedcheckfeemustbepaidincashorwithamoneyorder.CostumeandRecitalFeesCostumefeesare$75perclassandareduenolaterthanNovember1.Youmaypaythefeeallatonceoradditontoyourmonthlytuitionforthefirstthreemonthsofclass.Ifyouchoosetomakepayments,pleasemakeanotationinthememosectionofyourcheckorinthemessagesection.WeordercostumesinDecember.Toensureacostumeisorderedforyourchild,allcostumefeesmustbepaidbythedeadline.Recitalfeesare$50perfamily,whichincludestwoticketstotherecital.Additionalticketscanbepurchasedatthestudiooratthedoor.RecitalfeesareduenolaterthanMarch1st.Youmaypaytherecitalfeeininstallmentsorallatonce.

EndoftheSeasonShow(DanceRecital)BeginninginJanuary,allstudentsenrolledinclassatthestudiowillbeginworkingondancesfortheendoftheseasonshow--thedancerecital.Thisisaveryexcitingtimeasstudentswilllearndisciplinebybeingresponsibleforrememberingtheirdancesandhavetheopportunitytoperformonstageinfrontofanaudience.Attendanceisveryimportantduringthistime.Thestudentsworkveryhardeachseasontopresenttheirfinalshow.Weaskthatparentsbeassupportiveaspossibleduringthisprocess.Inadditiontotherecitalitself,therewillalsobeadressrehearsaltheeveningbeforetheshow.Wetryveryhardtostartontimeandendontime-wecanonlydothiswithyourcompletecooperation.OurdancerecitalwillbeheldinlateMayorearlyJuneatWadsworthAuditoriuminDowntownNewnan.RehearsalwillbetheFridaynightbeforetherecital.Informationaboutrehearsalandrecitalwillbegivenoutseveralweeksbeforetherecital.ClassPlacementWedoourbesttoplacestudentsinthemostappropriateclassbasedonageandabilitylevel.Sometimesafterbeginningclassitmaybenecessarytomoveastudenttoadifferentclasstobettermeethisorherneeds.Wewilldiscussthepotentialmovewiththeparentsandtryourbesttoaccommodatepersonalschedules.Wewantyourchildtobenefitfromthedanceeducationyouarepayingfor,thereforeweneedtomakesuretheyareinaclassthatallowsthemtoexcel.ClassTransfer/WithdrawIfforsomereasonatanytimeduringthedanceseasonitisnecessaryforyourdancertobetransferredtoanotherclassorwithdrawnfromclass,aclasstransfer/withdrawformmustbecompleted.Theseformsareavailableatthefrontdesk.Itisabsolutelynecessaryforthisformtobefilledoutasclassrostersmustbekeptaccurateforattendancelists,costumeordering,etc.Inthecaseofawithdraw,youwillberesponsibleforanyandallchargesincurredonyouraccountuntilthewithdrawformisreceived.ClassEtiquetteDanceclassislikeanyotherstructuredlearningenvironment.Weexpectallstudentstobehavewithalevelofself-controlandrespectthatisappropriatefortheirage.Studentsareexpectedtoarriveontime,beproperlyattiredandreadytolearn.Studentswillbeverballycorrectedwhennecessaryandwillonlybeaskedtoleaveclassiftheyusevulgarlanguage,refusetocooperatewiththeteacher,orbecomephysicallyorverballyabusivetotheteacherorotherstudents.Also,onlystudentsenrolledandpayingforaclasscanparticipateinaclass.Pleasedonotletsiblings,friends,etc.gointhedanceroomunlessitistheirscheduledclass.NoonehaspermissiontorunthemusicorassistinaclassunlessMissLeighhashiredthemtodoso.Extrapeopleinthedanceclassroomisdistractingandtakesclasstimeandteacherattentionawayfromthosestudentswhoarepayingfortheclass.Noelectronicdevicesareallowedinthedanceroomduringclasstime.

LobbyEtiquetteSincewewantyourtimespentatthestudiotobeaspleasantaspossible,weaskthatnoisebekepttoaminimuminthefrontlobby.Inthefrontlobbyourreceptionistisworkingveryhardtoanswerquestions,takecareofphonecalls,etc.Ifyouhaveaquestionorconcern,pleasedirectittotheappropriateperson,(i.e.someonewhocanresolvethesituationforyou)ratherthanairingittothelobby.Inotherwords,let’srememberthelessonsourparent’staughtusandbehavelikeladiesandgentlemen.StudioRulesPleasenofood,drink,gumorcandyinsidethedancearea.Nostreetshoesofanykindareallowedonthedancefloorsinanefforttokeepitcleanandsafeforourdancers.Alldancersregardlessofagemustwaitinsidethestudiofortheirridehome.Thispolicyappliestoalldancers.Thisisforeveryone’ssafetysinceweareonaverybusystreet.Profanityandvulgarityarenottoleratedonthestudioproperty.Thisincludesthedancearea,waitingrooms,dressingroomsandparkinglots.Pleasealsobeadvisedthatthefrontwaitingroomisjustthat--awaitingroom.Itisnotasnackroomoraplayground.Thisisasharedspaceforalldancers,sopleaseberespectfulofyourpropertyandothers’.Alsobeadvisedthatthestudiogetsverybusyduringtheweek.Therearemanycarsenteringandleavingtheparkinglot;thereforetheparkinglotisnotasafeplaceforchildrenofanyagetoplay.Weloveourdancersandtheirfamiliesandwanttokeepeveryonesafe.ClassObservationPolicyWewantyoutobeinvolvedinyourchild’sdanceeducationasmuchaspossible,andwewantyoutofeelyouaregettingagoodvalueforyourmoney.Inordertoaccomplishthis,wehaveaclosed-doorpolicyforallclasses.Severaltimesayear,wewillholdan"observationweek".Duringthisweek,parentscancomeintotheclasstoobserveyourdancer.Duringthisobservationtime,youaremorethanwelcometotakepicturesandvideoaslongasitdoesnotdisturbclass.Atanytimethatobservationdisruptstheclass,theteacherhastherighttoendobservationatthattime.ClassDressCodeGirlsBalletClasses:Pleasewearanysolidcoloredleotard,pinktights,pinkballetshoes.Balletskirtsareoptionalforpre-balletandballetcomboclasses.AlllevelIballetstudentsandup,noskirts.BalletIandupclassesmustwearhairinabun.BoysBalletClasses:Allmaleballetstudentsaretowearfittedblackpantsandsolidwhitewell-fittedt-shirtswithblackballetshoes.GirlsTapClasses:Primarytap,tapcomboclassespleasewearanysolidcoloredleotard,pinktights,tan“maryjane”bucklestraptapshoes.TaplevelIpleasewearanysolidcoloredleotard,tantights,tan“maryjane”bucklestraptapshoes.TaplevelsIIanduppleasewearanysolidcoloredleotard,tantights,tan“maryjane”bucklestraptapshoesoratancharactertapshoewitha1.5-inchheel.
