two of wine and some very nice nibbles.

the prizes for our Reverends Revenge Quiz Nights – really enjoyable community events.

JulyWe welcomed the ever popular Credo

Singers back for a concert

SeptemberGetting ready for the Autumn Fair in the

Churchyard

While the Duck Race along the stream in the grounds of the Old Schoolhouse Restaurant

rounded off a lovely day

Harvest Festival – as always a very popular and well attended service that was rounded off with a bring

and share supper

OctoberThe Bridge Drive at the Oat Barn, Packington was

a very popular and enjoyable occasion

NovemberAnother concert in church that was greatly enjoyed by all. This time by the acclaimed Wolverhampton

Orpheas Male Voice Choir.

The Christingle service was greatly enjoyed by the 80 or so people who attended – even

though the Christingles came in kit form. The highlight was an impromptu solo by 12 year

old Lauren Southall wonderful stuff!

6 Baptisms

Also at St Mary’s…..

18 weddings and a further 2 Blessings of Marriage – really happy

occasions

Many thanks to our very talented ladies who made such a brilliant job of the flower arrangements for many of these occasions

But sadly…..

4 Funerals…

Meanwhile – after nearly 20 years of freezing winters, we finally installed a brand new boiler and heating system –pure luxury!

We also mended the path, repaired the entrance doors and the stairs to the bell tower and installed a new ramp in the aisle.

We are really proud of what we have done for our little church!
