WHAT IS SERVICE LEARNING?Service Learning is an educational technique where the student does a
form of community service, reflects on that community service, and writes about what he or she has learned from the experience (Missouri State, 2006).
A service learning project must be volunteer work outside of normal employment (Teschendorf, 2012).

Provide collaborative leadership roles in the provision, delegation and supervision of nursing care while retaining accountability for patient safety and the quality of that care.
