Our Most Successful
Garage Sale! We know how hard everyone worked getting ready for the Garage Sale, and from what we have heard it was very successful this year. We had a wonderful turn out, and the “Weather Gods” were good to us. Let us thank everyone for picking up the yard signs for the front of your home, and returning them on time. A “Big Thank You” goes out to Grace Barnes for all the organ-izing and running the garage sale this year. We would also like to thank Dave Barnes, Paul Brownell, Ralph Weimer and Nick Furibondo, for getting up early and getting the signs placed around the com-munity. Thanks to Sharon for managing the sign procedure. Our next garage sale will be sometime in the fall… maybe around the end of Sep-tember or the beginning of October. The fee charged for that upcoming fall sale will reflect a small increase in order to pur-chase new signs. Many of them have been stolen or damaged necessitating our ac-quiring new ones for fall. So that we can keep our garage sale a popular and profit-able Stonegate event, this may need to be-come a yearly charge, but it will be worth every cent! Thanks a million, Sharon Rishel and Grace Barnes
WATERING ….

pots surrounding our Clubhouse, those in
the pool area and the flowers that lead out
to the parking lot.
Please consider signing up for one week this

keep us beautiful.
With Sincere Thanks,

JULY EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
Non-Fiction Book Club Tuesday, July 10th 7:30pm
Nothing obsessed explorers of the mid-nineteenth century more than the quest to discover the source of the White Nile. It was the planet's most elusive secret, the prize coveted above all others. Between 1856 and 1876, six larger-than-life men and one extraordinary woman accepted the chal-lenge. Showing extreme courage and resilience, Richard Burton, John Hanning Speke, James Au-gustus Grant, Samuel Baker, Florence von Sass, David Livingstone, and Henry Morton Stanley risked their lives and reputations in the fierce com-petition. Award-winning author Tim Jeal deploys fascinating new research to provide a vivid tab-leau of the unmapped "Dark Continent," its jungle deprivations, and the courage—as well as mali-cious tactics—of the explorers.

JULY EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
Classical Music Club
July 24th
7:30pm
Leader for this session: Bill Langham
We will hear John Rutter's Requiem
(written in 1985) and Rimsky-
Korsakov's "Piano Quintet in B." The
Requiem " is not strictly a setting of the
Requiem Mass as laid down in Catholic
liturgy, but is made up of a personal se-
lection of texts, some taken from the Req-
uiem Mass and some from the 1662 Book
of Common Prayer." One of the most
familiar texts is the 23rd Psalm. The
Quintet is upbeat and delightful music
that could lead to dancing in the hallway..
Tom Barrs will be our leader on August 28th.

KB’s Corner
By Karen Bowman,
Fitness Instructor
Greetings all my faithful exercise Guru's!
We have had such a fun time in classes lately. Not sure if it's just that everyone is get-ting the 'swing" of our exer-cise moves or you guys are all in such great shape!!! I think it's both! Don’t' be surprised by the en-ergy you get from exercise...it should do that, as muscles become lean mean energized machines...burning more cal-ories to YOUR advantage!! Oddly enough, more energy is a bi-product of exercise! So keep on “doin' what you are doin'” and we'll see you "bust a move" this summer!
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance. In Step with KB
