Lesson 2.02For this activity, you will find a partner and

create interview questions to find out about the student and his or her likes and dislikes. You will exchange questions with your partner and answer your partner’s questions via telephone, email, or by instant message. Follow these steps to complete this assignment.

Create five questions in Spanish to ask a partner. The questions should include asking your partner his or her name and questions about likes and dislikes related to school.

email, or instant message.

Option 1

Lesson 2.05You will be working with a partner to exchange information

about the imaginary Hispanic schools you each attended as an exchange student in the writing assignment of this lesson. Print the graphic organizer to help you organize your ideas.

Create a survey/interview list of questions in English that includes finding out about your partner’s exchange student experience. Make sure to include and ask the following information in the survey:

Partner’s name, country where your partner studied, how the school is different from your partner’s school in the U.S.

Exchange surveys and answer your partner’s questions in English. You can do this via phone, email, or IM.

Create a poster advertising studying at your partner’s exchange student school. You can create your poster on paper and scan it, or you can use software such as PowerPoint, or a Web 2.0 tool. There are many 21st century tools available for creating and submitting work in the online environment. For more information about tools your school recommends, please visit the resource tools area in your course or contact your instructor.

4. Evidence: Provide evidence of collaboration. Insert your emailed questions or a screen shot of the blog, wiki, IM, discussion area, etc.

5. Completed Project:Finally, insert your questions to your partner and your answers to your partner’s questions. If you chose option 2.05. attach your poster.
