Institutional Funds: MUSC - $500K/year USC - $200K/year

Grant Categories (all awards are for 12 months): Discovery Grants (up to $25K) High Risk – High Reward (up to $10K) Fast-Forward Seed Grants (up to $10K*)

Note: New pilot project applications developed as a result of SCTR Scientific Retreats are eligible to apply using these mechanisms.

*Requires 1:1 Match - $5K SCTR funds, $5K matching funds

Pre-application is required – 2 cycles per year• High Risk – High Reward Grants and Fast Forward Seed Grants:

No pre-application process – 3 cycles per year

Review Process: Similar to a NIH study section
