Dear Sir,

Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has announced India’s participation in Expo 2017 Astana duringhis visit  to Kazakhstan. Eventually India signs agreement on participation  in Expo 2017 on Feb12, 2016, New Delhi. The Indian Trade Promotion Organisation, DST, MNRE and MOP is settingup  the National Pavilion at  the Astana Expo 2017, Kazakhstan, which will  focus on “FUTUREENERGY,  from June 10  to September 10, 2017. The Sub­Title  for  the Expo  is  “Reducing CO2emissions”. The main Theme of the Expo is to showcase cutting edge technologies.

I  would  like  to  inform  you  that  your  subject  Project  Deliverable/  Product/  Model  have  beenshortlisted for display in  the Astana Expo 2017, Kazakhstan. This  is a wonderful opportunity  toshowcase  these  Deliverable/  Product/  Model  at  Astana  Expo  2017  exhibition  stand,  which  isrequired to be submitted at DST, New Delhi before 30th December 2016.We are  confident  youwill  find  this opportunity exciting and  that we will be able  to showcase your product  to AstanaExpo 2017 and exhibition.  

In the meantime, I request you to submit Executive Summary of project deliverable containing abrief description of the idea of the Deliverable/ Product/ Model and the objectives to be pursued(Format is attached).

As per participation contract, last date for submission of Executive Summary is May 05th, 2016.So I would appreciate if you send us your Executive Summary by 05th May 2016 with a copy tomy colleague Dr. Ranjith Krishna Pai, Principal Scientific Officer (ranjith.krishnapai@gov.in),who is coordinating DST’s participation in the event.
