Producing a Publishable Literature Review
Presented by Arman Abednia (SOAR Ambassador)
Almost every thesis requires a literature review in some form. A strong literature review will be
regarded favourably by your thesis examiners, and also has the potential to be published. In this
session, SOAR ambassador Arman Abednia will share his experience in publishing and reviewing
literature reviews for peer-reviewed international journals.
The session will focus on:
What a literature review is
What a literature review is not
Major types of literature reviews
A step-by-step guide to writing a literature review
Major errors to avoid when writing a literature review
This session is complementary to the GRS workshop on “Reviewing the Literature”.
