Dancing holds a great significance in the lives of Khmer people and no visit to Cambodia would be complete without experiencing a captivating performance of the ancient Apsara dance show. After being awed by the Apsara carvings on the Angkor temples you will be mesmerized as you watch the beautiful live Apsara. Dressed in skin-tight silk tunics embellished with gold and silver thread, barefoot but wearing ornate headdresses and with outstretched arms, the dancers perform with incredible grace to a backdrop of gongs, drums, xylophones, horns and stringed instruments.
